ONE PIECE: STAMPEDE WILL CHARGE INTO THEATERS THROUGHOUT THE U.S. & CANADA IN OCTOBER

As the new film, One Piece: Stampede, tramples over box office records in Japan; audiences throughout the U.S. & Canada will get to see the ultimate pirate battle royal on the big screen too when the film arrives October 24-31, 2019. One Piece: Stampede is the 14th film from the beloved anime series that is celebrating its monumental 20th anniversary this year.

Funimation Films, the theatrical division of Sony Pictures Television’s Funimation, acquired Toei Animation’s new feature length film from Toei Animation Inc. and will distribute the film. To this date, One Piece Stampede has already grossed more than $48.5 million and has also set a new record in Japan for the biggest opening-day audience in 2019.

Under the creative supervision by original creator Eiichiro Oda, One Piece: Stampede takes Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates to the Pirates Festival, where many of the most iconic pirates from the franchise participates in a the mad dash race to find Gol D. Roger’s treasure will occur. The Straw Hats will also need to contend against an old member of Roger’s crew that has a sinister score to settle. Get ready for the greatest swashbuckling showdown that you’ve ever seen!
