CRUNCHYROLL EXPO 2019 IS UPON US!
Experience the Extraordinary at the 3rd Annual Crunchyroll Expo (CRX) this year! Fans are welcomed to gather at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, CA from August 30-September 1, 2019 to celebrate and explore the world of anime and Japanese pop culture, hosted by Crunchyroll!
This year within the convention, fans will be introduced to “New Crunchy City”, where anime will come to life and Japan will be brought to CRX! The city will feature a large shopping area, anime, manga, games, and cosplay! Also on hand at CRX will be special guests, panels, autographs, screenings, musical events, a gaming area, and many more activities.
Inside the Exhibit Hall, be sure to make your way to Booth #1414 where the Toei Animation Booth will be. Explore our spaces dedicated to “One Piece”, celebrating its 20th Anniversary and “Dragon Ball Z”, celebrating its 30th! Join us in celebrating two beloved franchises and their milestone anniversaries!
Keep exploring the booth and you can participate in a fun GIF photo experience where fans can choose between four amazing backdrops from “One Piece”, “Dragon Ball Z”, “Digimon Adventure”, & “Sailor Moon Crystal”. Make sure to share your new GIF on social media with #ToeiAnimeCRX for your chance to win special prizes! Finally, stop by our store space where exclusive Toei Animation merchandise, one-of-a-kind Dragon Ball Z apparel, and gachapon items will be available to purchase.
Finally, Dragon Ball Z fans will have the opportunity to attend a special Double Feature screening of two incredible installments of the franchise. On Saturday, August 31 from 7:00pm – 9:00pm, attend a screening of the special “Dragon Ball Z: Bardock – The Father of Goku” & the feature “Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn”. Presented by Toei Animation and will be held in Cinema 1.
