WORLD TRIGGER SEASON 2 SET FOR WORLDWIDE SIMULCAST PREMIERE ON JANUARY 9, 2021
"World Trigger", the Sci-Fi/Action series that first debuted in 2014 (73 episodes) is coming back with a 2nd anticipated season! It has been announced that all subtitled episodes will stream day and date with its TV broadcast in Japan for a worldwide simulcast premiere on January 9, 2021! Set to simulcast on Crunchyroll (North America, Latin America, Australia, New Zealand, Africa, Middle East, and Europe), Anime Digital Network in France, and Anime On Demand in Germany! Check your local platforms for date/time.
Based on the sci-fi action manga series of the same name launched in 2013 and written by Daisuke Ashihara. For this 2nd season, Morio Hatano (“Dragon Ball Super” - Future Trunks saga) serves as the series new director. Original staff members from the previous season return including Hiroyuki Yoshino (series composition writer for Eps 1-48), Kenji Kawai (music composer) and Toshihisa Kaiya (character designer).
In addition, there is a special livestream event being planned by Toei Animatioon in honor of the series’ simulcast run which will be announced in detail at a later date. Fans can catch up on the first season of “World Trigger” currently on Crunchyroll and Tubi.
One last thing, a 3rd season for World Trigger is already confirmed and in production!
